Year 1 History Workshop

Year 1 had a fantastic History workshop where we learnt all about Mary Seacole. First, we explored what life was like during her life, discovering that they didn’t have light bulbs and the fastest mode of travel was a steam train. We then explored and imagined her British hotel and realised that it was nothing like the hospitals we have today. Next, we became nurses and helped our wounded toys by bandaging their wounds. We had a great time!
