World Book Day 2024

We all entered into the spirit of celebrating books and reading last Thursday for World Book Day; children had a great time bringing in a character to school.  They were asked to unlock their creative book juices and create a character in whichever way they wished.  The results were phenomenal!  From pictures, to puppets and craft to cakes, the characters were really cheerful and creative - take a look!  Your child would have come home with their World Book Day token to have either a book from the World Book Day selection or £1 off a book or audiobook of their choice.   There are also some great reading activities on the World Book Day website: www.worldbookday.com
