Woodingtons Update - Tuesday 17th October

The Woodingtons have had a fabulous afternoon using their leaf identifiers, keen to spot and tick off species on autumn charts and desperately hoping to spot a muntjac deer or fox. The children all embraced searching within quadrats; in a biodiversity study focusing on the abundance of moss, worms, hazel leaves and fungi.  Finally, in two teams, they searched for a suitable site (within a given area) to build dens large enough to accommodate their group.
