The Great Fire of London!

In Year 1 this term, we have be learning all about The Great Fire of London. We have really enjoyed finding out that it started in a bakery on Pudding Lane in 1666. We explored the reasons for the fire spreading so far and lasting for so long and discovered that the houses were made of wood, packed close together and there was no fire brigade! In art, we created our very own houses out of boxes and then had our own fire, with real fire! It was all very exciting!
