Story Museum visits Saplings

Yesterday we were visited by the story museum who ran a session with our Reception classes.   The session was based on the story Elmer.  The children looked at some illustrations and talked about how the elephants all painted themselves in beautiful patterns to celebrate Elmer.  They then explored shapes and colours and came up with some patterns of their own to decorate their elephants with.  It was a lot of fun and the children all listened and participated beautifully!
