Woodlands Oct 2021

What an awesome week Year 6 had away in Glasbury-On-Wye, Wales, at the Woodlands’ Outdoor Education Centre, just before the October half-term, 2021!

We participated in different activities such as caving, climbing (both up the climbing wall and also up mountains on the Brecon Beacons), canoeing and completing the high ropes course.

During the week, we developed lots of skills: teamwork, resilience and independence, for example, ensuring that we had all of the correct equipment for the day ahead. Whilst the weather was varied and quite often soggy, this did not dampen our spirits and everyone succeeded in having a truly fun and rewarding week.
