Rosie Stancer Polar Explorer

Children from Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic opportunity to meet Rosie Stancer, polar explorer, and hear her talk about her adventures. Rosie showed us all of the equipment she had used on her expeditions, and some amazing pictures from the North and South Pole. She told us about her 80-day solo mission to the Arctic and the challenges she faced including having to remove some of her toes! The children had some great questions to ask, and Marley even got to try on her headgear needed to survive sub-zero temperatures!  Our thanks to Radley College for making this happen!
