Quadkids Athletic Event
On Monday 22nd May 2023, Miss Burton took ten Year 6 children to Matthew Arnold to compete in a Quadkids athletics event. They each did a long distance run, a sprint, a vortex howler throw and a jump. The children represented the school brilliantly and came 2nd place out of 9 other teams in the Year 5/6 category, only missing out on the top spot by 7 points! Amelie Ashley scored the most points out of all of the girls in the Year 5/6 teams across the partnership – well done!
