Celebrating Harvest Festival

We celebrated Harvest in KS2 by using KitKats!  If there were 50 children in the world across all 7 continents and 50 KitKats, would each child get one KitKat or would the distribution of food be uneven and therefore unfair?  The children helped work out that, although Asia and Africa have the largest populations, they don't have the greatest share of the food available. The children also decided that they should donate all the KitKats to the Porch as part of our Harvest offerings.  Thought provoking!
