Welcome to Hawthorn, we are energetic and creative explorers and builders. We love working as a team to create amazing masterpieces. We work well together to create lots of fun models and structures in our busy time. 

This term we are safari rangers, and we are exploring animal stories. We are loving exploring the world with The Snail and the Whale, reimagining the story with our own characters. We love learning about animals and working out how to classify them.

In Hawthorn Class, we enjoy exploring and solving problems in Maths with our teachers and during busy time, using practical activities to help us understand and apply new skills. We are also developing our sentence writing through Writing Club, where we bring stories to life by creating imaginative illustrations and using them as inspiration for our writing.  

Hawthorn children are always keen to share fascinating facts, ask thoughtful questions, and deepen our understanding of the world around us. Most importantly, we make sure to learn with lots of fun and enthusiasm every day!
